Kelab Sukan Elektronik ZeTa ("ZeTa", "KSE ZeTa", "we", "us", or "our") is an esports club based in Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia, registered with the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia (Kementerian Belia dan Sukan). We plan, organize, and manage esports tournaments and events, including PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and E-Football.

This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data in connection with this website (the "Site") and describes your rights under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010, including the Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2024 (collectively, the "PDPA"). If you are outside Malaysia, your data may still be processed in accordance with this Policy and Malaysian law.

1. What This Website Collects

This Site is a static informational website. It does not contain sign-up forms, contact forms, cookies, or analytics or tracking scripts, and it does not create user accounts. We do not knowingly collect, store, or process any personal data through the Site itself.

When you use the "Join ZeTa," "Get In Touch," or "Contact Us" buttons on the Site, we do not capture any information at that point. The button simply opens links to our external Instagram, TikTok, and Gmail (email) profiles. Any personal data you choose to share by messaging or emailing us through those platforms (such as your name, contact number, or message content) is collected directly by that platform and by us as the recipient, and is subject to that platform's own privacy policy in addition to this one.

Fonts

The Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Loading a webpage font can expose your device's IP address and browser information to Google as the font's operator. This is standard behavior for most modern websites and is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

2. Tournament & Event Registration

Registration for our tournaments and events (for example, via QR code or an external registration form linked from event posters or our social media) is not handled through this Site. Any personal data you submit when registering for an event, such as your name, age, contact number, team name, or payment details for entry fees, is collected directly by us or by the relevant event co-organizer, and is used only for purposes connected to that event: verifying eligibility, managing the tournament bracket, contacting participants, distributing prizes, and coordinating with venue, sponsor, and government partners where required.

We do not sell personal data collected for event registration. It may be shared with co-organizers, venue operators, sponsors, or government bodies (such as the Ministry of Youth and Sports or affiliated youth/sports associations) strictly to the extent needed to run the event.

3. Participants Under 18

Some of our tournaments are open to youth participants as young as 15 years old. Where a participant is under the age of majority, we require that registration be made with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian, and we collect no more personal data from a minor than is reasonably necessary to run the event safely. Parents or guardians may contact us at any time to review, correct, or request deletion of a minor's data, subject to Section 7 below.

4. How We Use Personal Data

Where we do collect personal data (for example, in connection with an event, sponsorship, or partnership inquiry sent to us directly), we use it only to:

• Organize and run tournaments and events, including registration, eligibility checks, and prize distribution
• Respond to inquiries from participants, partners, sponsors, and the public
• Coordinate with venues, sponsors, and government or sports-body partners for event logistics
• Comply with legal or regulatory obligations, including reporting to the Ministry of Youth and Sports where required

We do not use personal data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect any personal data we hold from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, in line with the Security Principle under the PDPA. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data collected for an event only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, typically for the duration of the event and a reasonable period afterward for record-keeping, dispute resolution, or reporting to partners, after which it is deleted or anonymized, unless a longer period is required by law.

7. Your Rights Under the PDPA

Subject to the PDPA, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data
• Withdraw consent to our processing of your personal data, or limit the processing of your personal data
• Request that we cease processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10. We will respond within the timeframes required by the PDPA. Withdrawing consent may affect our ability to process your event registration or respond to your inquiry.

8. Third-Party Links

The Site links to third-party platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Gmail. We do not control these platforms and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party platform before sharing personal data with it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The "Effective date" at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
